An organized and effective Sales Support Officer is needed to contribute to the smooth functioning and success of the sales team by providing administrative and operational support and coordination.
The Sales Support Officer’s responsibilities include coordinating quotations with the sales team, providing customer service, assisting in the quotation process and monitoring sales activities to ensure that all quotes are assigned and fulfilled in a timely manner.
This position requires someone with excellent time management, organizational, communication, interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills. The candidate must be accurate and pay attention to detail. It is essential that they can spot and resolve errors and fact check. Along with this, there needs to be technical knowledge including the use of Microsoft Software Applications particularly MS Excel and MS Word. The candidate must have a pass in CXC Mathematics and English and a knowledge of the IT Industry.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Sales cycle support: Proposal, contract and order creation, product pricing, assisting with the quotation process and maintaining accurate sales records and documentation. Monitoring sales requests (ensuring all requests are assigned and being worked on)
Customer service: Responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product or service information.
Data management: Collecting and analyzing sales data to generate reports and insights that help the sales team make informed decisions and improve performance.
CRM management: Maintaining and updating the customer relationship management (CRM) system, ensuring that all customer information is accurate and current.
Sales and Marketing: Provide support in the execution of Sales and Marketing Campaigns. Conducting research on market trends, competitor analysis, and potential customer needs to support the development of sales strategies and initiatives.
